WHAT ARE THE OBJECTIVES?
TESEO’s goal is to provide our lawyers with solid legal training based on the analysis of fundamental questions concerning Company Law; knowledge of areas of law other than those in which they normally practice; up to date information on the principal innovations taking place in the legal world (law-related, jurisprudential, academic, etc.) and the necessary skills for the professional practice of law.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
The programme lasts two years (two academic courses from September to June).
WHAT DOES IT INVOLVE?
I. ORIENTATION MODULE:
Welcome course:
The welcome course makes your incorporation into the firm as smooth as possible by offering you a view of the Firm’s culture that will allow you to adapt quickly and easily. You will get to know the different areas of work in which the Firm is involved, the internal rules that govern the way it operates as well as the practice of law and its professional ethics.
Fundamental questions concerning company law:
This part of TESEO offers you a practical focus on fundamental questions concerning the various legal branches which make up Company Law and goes over some of the knowledge you gained during your studies.
II. CONTINUOUS LEGAL TRAINING MODULE:
Seminars
These seminars aim to increase your knowledge of particular legal subjects. A lawyer, who is an expert in the subject, discusses specific legal topics of relevance or of current interest.
Legal refresher course
This course keeps you up-to-date with sessions during which the most important legislative, jurisprudential and academic news is discussed.
Practical training
Touching on various different aspects of law, solutions and shared experiences are presented with the aim of offering practical legal training of a multidisciplinary nature.
III. CONTINUOUS NON-LEGAL TRAINING MODULE:
This part of TESEO makes the most of your talents and your professional and personal skills by providing you with the tools necessary for the professional practice of law, through specialised courses in legal English, accounting and finance, IT systems and negotiation techniques.
