Associate professor of Commercial law at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid and she coaches the team for the international competition Moot Madrid. She has also lectured on litigation and arbitration for the Masters programme on the Practice of Law at the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid) and on the Masters in Private Law at the Madrid Bar Association. Her working languages are Spanish and English.
Career
Guillermina Ester joined PEREZ-LLORCA in 2005, after practicing at Jones Day (Madrid) in the litigation and arbitration department for five years. She was named partner in January 2010.
She advises on the civil and commercial aspects to both national and international companies in pre-litigious and litigious matters (before tribunals of all instances) and participates in national and international arbitrations of a commercial and investment nature, ad hoc and administered by institutions such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Centre for Settlement of Investment (CIADI), the Madrid Court of Arbitration (CAM), the Civil and Commercial Court of Arbitration (CIMA) and the Madrid Bar Association Court of Arbitration. She has considerable experience in insolvency proceedings and in the execution of decisions and international arbitral awards.
