Law degree and minor in Business administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE (Madrid), 1991. Masters in Tax law from ICAI-ICADE (Madrid), 1993. Javier teaches Tax law on the University Masters in Tax law at the Universidad de Navarra, at the Instituto de Empresa and on the Capital markets Advanced programme at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (Madrid). His working languages are Spanish and English.
Career
Javier joined PEREZ-LLORCA in 2001 after several years at Ernst & Young. As partner of the Tax practice area, he specialises in international tax; of companies and shareholders, both resident or non resident in Spain, ensuring optimisation of tax benefits in national and transnational deals; of mergers and acquisitions, both national and transnational and of listed and unlisted companies. He also has extensive experience in real estate transactions. His clients are mainly multinational firms operating in various countries and therefore subject to different tax regimes.
