The EU & Competition team is particularly active in matters of abuse of a dominant position, having recently participated in some of the most important acquisitions and investments in Spain, in close collaboration with the Corporate team. Together, they take part in the analysis and notification of mergers and in drafting joint-venture agreements, agency contract, franchising agreements and contracts relating to distribution in general.
The team also have considerable experience in cartel cases and regularly bring merger matters before the Spanish and European authorities. This team offers practical legal advice on antitrust litigation matters alongside the Litigation and Arbitration team.
