Profile

Luis Alonso Navarro is a partner at the firm, having joined in 2011 as an associate. His practice focuses on litigation and arbitration, with a particular emphasis on representing and advising clients in commercial and investment arbitration proceedings, both internationally and domestically, across sectors such as energy, mining, hydrocarbons, infrastructure and construction.

Experience

Luis Alonso has extensive experience in complex disputes of a regulatory, corporate, civil, commercial and administrative nature. He was an associate in the international arbitration practice at King & Spalding LLP in New York between 2016 and 2017. He has been a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru since 2021 and has also taught courses at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lima.

Academic and Publishing Collaborations

He has been a professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru since 2021. He has also taught courses at the Faculty of Law of the Universidad de Lima.

Co-author, together with Mauricio Raffo and José Luis Repetto, of “International Commercial Arbitration in Peru”, published in The Guide to International Arbitration in Latin America, Latin Lawyer, 2022.
