María Pía has more than 18 years of experience in providing corporate and contractual legal counsel in connection with complex transactions and day-to-day business operations, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity investments, and corporate dissolutions and liquidations.
Her practice focuses on advising local and multinational clients on transactions involving the acquisition and reorganization of companies, as well as on commercial and corporate law matters. She also has extensive experience in the design, negotiation, and structuring of a wide range of investment transactions, including real estate projects. In addition, she has significant experience advising companies on corporate and contractual matters, as well as on the drafting, negotiation, and implementation of commercial and civil agreements.
She also specializes in providing strategic guidance to clients in cross-border transactions, supporting both buyers and sellers and delivering comprehensive counsel across a broad spectrum of corporate and contractual matters.

She speaks Spanish and English and possesses a basic proficiency in German.

She has extensive experience in complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and transactional and contractual advisory.
Throughout her career, she has advised both domestic and international clients on acquisitions, company sales, and corporate restructurings, as well as on their exit from the Peruvian market. Notable experience includes advising on the sale of Nextel del Peru to Entel; various real estate investments and divestments undertaken by Paladin Realty Partners and by TC Latin America Partners (including the acquisition of the Villa In El Polo real estate project); corporate restructurings of Grupo Vanguard Internacional; and the design and structuring of distribution agreements for Clorox Peru, part of The Clorox Company.
She has also supported investments across a variety of industries, including agribusiness, real estate, telecommunications, retail, and logistics, providing strategic corporate and contractual counsel to both buyers and sellers.
