Carlos Glave is a partner at the firm, having joined in 2018 as an associate. His practice focuses on dispute resolution, encompassing both negotiations and representation in arbitration, as well as in civil, constitutional and contentious-administrative proceedings.

Experience

Carlos has experience that includes dispute resolution through negotiations and legal representation in arbitration proceedings and civil, constitutional, and contentious-administrative proceedings. He also has international experience in New York and previously served as a partner at local law firms. He is a member of the Ibero-American Institute of Procedural Law and of the Working Group on Collective Proceedings of said institute.

Academic and Publishing Collaborations

He has been a professor at the Department of Law of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú for more than 15 years, during which time he has taught various Procedural Law courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. He also designed the Collective Proceedings course within the Second Specialization Program in Procedural Law.

Additionally, he has served as a member of Themis’ Board of Directors and is the author of several academic articles, as well as co-author of the specialized Procedural Law book “Comentarios a la Nueva Ley Procesal del Trabajo” (ARA: Lima, 2011), together with Santiago Carrillo Tejada, Carlos Glave Mavila, Martín Sotero Garzón, and Roberto Pérez Prieto de las Casas.

Furthermore, he has participated as a speaker at various arbitration conferences and has authored the following academic publications:
