Profile

Amadeo Arrarte focuses his professional practice on the energy sector (renewable and conventional generation, transmission, and distribution) and hydrocarbons (production, transportation, and distribution), in topics related to energy, natural gas, and hydrogen regulation, tariff regulation, relationship with authorities, project development, and financing. Likewise, throughout his professional development, he led various tariff regulation processes, contractual and regulatory negotiations with the Peruvian State and users, administrative procedures, legal-regulatory advice, national and international arbitrations, development and construction of infrastructure, and debt structuring, mergers, and acquisitions of companies in Peru, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, and the United States.

Experience

Amadeo has more than 24 years of professional experience focused on the energy and hydrocarbons sectors, holding senior executive and management positions in the main natural gas distribution companies of Peru and being managing partner of a leading multilatina consulting firm (Peru, Argentina and Brazil) specialized in tariff regulation, energy transition and project development in the energy and natural gas sectors. Amadeo was also a member of the board of directors and management committees of various companies in the Peruvian energy sector and the main associations of the mining, energy and gas industry in Peru.
