Pérez-Llorca, Miranda & Amado has announced the appointment of José Miguel Mazuré as Counsel at the firm’s Peru office, in recognition of his outstanding professional career, his commitment to the firm and his contribution to the development of the Land Management and Socio-Legal practice areas.
José Miguel has extensive experience in land management and socio-legal matters relating to the development of natural resource and infrastructure projects, as well as in providing advice to ensure the continuity of such operations. He has advised domestic and foreign companies on technical, legal and social assessments, land registry and asset valuation activities, the acquisition of property rights, and the design and implementation of strategies for engaging with stakeholders.
In addition to his main practice, he has worked in collaboration with various departments to advise clients on financing and transactions, as well as on dispute resolution and arbitration relating to the performance of construction, operation and maintenance contracts, and on other matters relating to a project’s property management.
