About
Daniel is an associate in the Transactional Team of Perez-Llorca, and is a member of the Projects, Energy and Infrastructure and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups of the firm. Daniel has over 4 years of experience in the legal sector, and he has concentrated his practice on the financing and development of complex energy, mining and infrastructure projects, as well as domestic and cross-border mergers & acquisitions, public tenders and concession contracts, and regulatory work. Daniel has extensive experience advising private and public companies on securities matters and working with sponsors, investors, and lenders on a wide range of financing structures.

Prior to joining our firm, Daniel was a member of the Corporate Law Department at a leading Panamanian law firm, where he gained substantial experience in all aspects related to mineral exploration and mine development and finance. Daniel participated in the development of some of the largest projects in the region, including the Port of Balboa on the Pacific Entrance of the Panama Canal, and First Quantum Minerals’ Cobre Panama Project — one of the world’s largest open-pit copper mines and the largest private investment in Panama’s history.
