Ana Claudia’s practice focuses on administrative law and economic and market regulation, with particular emphasis on the telecommunications and new technologies industries, as well as the elimination of bureaucratic barriers. She also has extensive experience in legal advisory work, litigation, and administrative proceedings in the areas of competition law (including administrative sanctioning proceedings and merger control), unfair competition, consumer protection, and personal data protection.

Experience

Prior to joining the firm, Ana Claudia worked within the decision-making branch of the Bureaucratic Barriers Commission of the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property (INDECOPI). In this role, she participated in the resolution of both trilateral and ex officio proceedings involving a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, energy, sanitation, real estate, and services.

Likewise, she advises and supports both domestic and international clients on regulatory matters relating to the design and implementation of new business models, merger control proceedings, competition and unfair competition disputes, consumer protection matters, and the elimination of bureaucratic barriers. Her practice focuses on both preventive risk management and representation in administrative proceedings.

 Academic and Publishing Collaborations

Ana Claudia has served as a teaching assistant for the undergraduate course Bureaucratic Barriers and Regulatory Quality at the Universidad del Pacífico and for the postgraduate course State Intervention in the Economy and Administrative Police Powers at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos.
