Felipe Gamboa is the Legal Innovation Director. His practice focuses on the design and implementation of innovation, digital transformation and knowledge management strategies for the delivery of legal services and the management of legal departments.
He has extensive experience in the development of legal technology solutions, legal analytics, process automation and the application of emerging technologies to the practice of law. He also advises on organisational transformation, service design, change management and the optimisation of legal processes, with a particular focus on creating value for clients through the use of data, technology and innovation methodologies.
Felipe is actively involved in academic and professional initiatives related to the future of the legal profession, legal innovation and the management of legal organisations.

Experience
Felipe has led initiatives aimed at modernising and transforming the delivery of legal services, playing a key role in the design and implementation of tools, methodologies and operating models to enhance efficiency, knowledge management and decision-making in complex legal environments.
Throughout his career, he has led projects involving the application of emerging technologies, the strategic use of data and legal analytics, the design of legal products and services, and the adoption of new ways of working for legal teams across a wide range of industries, including banking and insurance, mining, retail and consumer goods. His practice combines legal expertise with management, technology and design to address operational and strategic challenges through a multidisciplinary approach.
Before specialising in legal innovation, Felipe practised Labour and Employment law, advising companies on employment relations, regulatory compliance, risk management and workforce organisation. This experience enabled him to participate in organisational transformation initiatives and provided him with first-hand insight into the operational and management challenges faced by businesses.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Felipe teaches the Legal Management course as part of the Master’s Programme in Business Law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He is also a former member of Ius et Veritas and co-founder of the Lima chapter of Legal Hackers. In addition, he regularly participates as an organiser, speaker and moderator at national and international conferences and events on legal innovation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the future of the legal profession.
