Rodrigo joined the firm as an associate in the finance and insurance practice in 2025. His practice focuses on the structuring and negotiation of financing transactions, in both the banking and capital markets, as well as advising banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, and fintech companies on regulatory matters, administrative proceedings -both sanctioning and authoritative- and judicial and arbitral proceedings related to the financial and insurance sectors.

Experience
Rodrigo has advised local and international companies on a wide range of financing transactions, including syndicated loans, corporate financings, and acquisition finance, as well as public and private offerings of securities in both local and international markets (Rule 144-A and Section 4(a)(2) of the U.S. Securities Act).
He also has experience advising financial and insurance companies in administrative proceedings before the Superintendency of the Securities Market (SMV) and the Superintendency of Banking, Insurance, and Pension Fund Administrators (SBS), in both sanctioning and licensing matters, including proceedings for organizational authorization, operating licenses, and significant ownership acquisitions.
In the insurance sector, Rodrigo has advised insurance and reinsurance companies, intermediaries, brokers, and policyholders on regulatory, civil, contractual, and corporate matters, as well as on the management and coverage of claims related to property damage, civil liability, accidents, and other risks.
