Experience

Joana specialises in EU and Competition law.

Joana is actively involved in drafting, reviewing and implementing competition law compliance programmes, and has significant experience in merger control, advising on notifications and clearance procedures before competition authorities. She also has experience in State aid matters.

Her recent work has focused on investigations into no-poach agreements, hub-and-spoke arrangements, and theories of harm associated with the facilitation of cartels.
