Miguel del Río joined Pérez-Llorca in 2026 as an associate in the Finance Law practice area.

Before joining Pérez-Llorca, he spent more than four years working in the banking and finance departments of several leading international law firms, where he specialised in providing transactional advice on financing deals. Between 2022 and 2023, he also prepared for the competitive state exams for admission to the Spanish Association of Notaries.

Experience

Miguel specialises in advising on financing transactions, acting on behalf of both lenders and borrowers. He has experience in project finance, acquisition finance, structured finance, export finance, syndicated loans, real estate finance and secured finance, as well as debt restructuring and refinancing transactions. He has also been involved in aircraft and asset finance transactions.
