Pedro Peris Calderón joined Pérez-Llorca after having worked at a Spanish law firm in the Insurance, Reinsurance and Innovation area.

Experience

Pedro is currently part of Pérez-Llorca’s Insurance and Reinsurance practice, where he is involved in advising domestic and international clients on the civil, commercial, criminal, employment and administrative fields.

He is an expert in providing ongoing procedural law advice to domestic and international insurance and reinsurance companies, with an emphasis on liability, credit and surety, and casualty and damages and D&O claims.

He also has extensive experience in providing regulatory advice to the insurance and reinsurance industry in relation to the adaptation of insurance policies to Spanish regulations, the configuration of complex insurance products, the drafting of distribution and collaboration contracts, among others.

In the commercial field, he has participated in various mergers, acquisitions and other transactions between insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, as well as in the incorporation of companies, subsidiaries or branches dedicated to insurance distribution.

Academic and publishing collaborations

Contributed to “Libro Blanco de Insurtech 2.0”, published by the Spanish Fintech and Insurtech Association (AEFI).
