Pérez-Llorca increased its pro forma global revenue by 28% in 2025, ending the financial year with a turnover of €211.3 million (approximately $250 million), a figure that consolidates the double-digit growth trajectory the firm has maintained over the last five years. This pro forma revenue includes sales for the full year 2025 in Spain, Portugal and Mexico, as well as in Colombia, a new market for the firm.
The firm’s turnover in Spain rose to €155.8 million, representing an increase of approximately 17% compared with 2024. The firm’s Portuguese, Mexican and Colombian law practice areas recorded pro forma sales of €55.5 million, accounting for 26% of the firm’s total revenue.
The increase in turnover reflects both the solid performance of the Spanish market and the strong growth of the international business, which continues to account for an increasing share of the firm’s overall turnover.
These figures, pending final audit approval, once again show Pérez-Llorca achieving record sales levels and consolidate its track record of sustained growth. Over the past decade (2016–2025), Pérez-Llorca has increased its sales sixfold.
“The growth achieved in 2025 is the result of having a very clear roadmap across the four markets in which we operate: advising our clients on highly complex transactions, significant disputes and regulatory matters, upholding consistent standards of excellence and maintaining a clear focus on attracting and developing the best talent. Our ambition is, and will continue to be, to grow in all the jurisdictions we are present in,” said Pedro Pérez-Llorca, the firm’s Senior Partner.
International strategy
To drive and capitalise on its global growth, Pérez-Llorca launched Scala in 2025, an initiative designed to harness the opportunities of its internationalisation and solidify its standing as a leading Ibero-American legal services firm.
Scala is not only the driving force behind selective expansion into key markets and the comprehensive, coordinated support of major clients with a presence across multiple jurisdictions, but also helps channel the international opportunities available to Pérez-Llorca’s talent.
As part of this initiative, Pedro Pérez-Llorca, the firm’s Senior Partner, has temporarily relocated to Mexico City for a year with the aim of providing on-the-ground support for a growing project and working alongside the Americas team: Iván Delgado, International Executive Partner; Jorge Mondragón, Country Chair for Mexico; and Mauricio Piñeros, Country Chair for Colombia.
Julio Lujambio, Executive Partner, is implementing the strategy and leads the Iberian market from Spain, while Constanza Vergara, Partner and COO of Pérez-Llorca, coordinates the firm’s day-to-day operations.
Project Scala also involves a reorganisation of the group of companies to enable it to capitalise on all emerging opportunities by ensuring the most appropriate structure is in place.
As part of this international expansion, the firm has recently announced the forthcoming opening of an office in Abu Dhabi, making it the first Latin American firm to establish a physical presence in the city. This new office will be headed by Gonçalo Capela Godinho, who will hand over the reins of the Portugal office to Carlos Vaz de Almeida, who serves as Managing Partner, as well as to Inês Arruda and Adolfo Mesquita Nunes, who are Country Co-chairs.
