Artificial Intelligence and Gender Bias: Managing Risks in the Public and Private Sectors

With 87 legislative initiatives on artificial intelligence submitted to the Mexican Congress by the end of 2025, the debate on regulation and legal risks is intensifying. Pamela Martínez and other experts warn that algorithms may replicate gender inequalities and emphasize the importance of internal policies, human oversight and data governance to mitigate risks and ensure the ethical and equitable use of AI in both public and private organizations.
