Experience 

With over 25 years of experience in the financial sector, Juan Manuel has held leadership positions in public institutions, local and international banks, as well as in the private sector. He has served as an advisor to the Ministry of Finance and as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme. His legal career includes roles at institutions such as Citibank, Citi Colfondos, and Bancolombia, where he served as Legal Director for nearly a decade. Between 2017 and 2025, he led a company specialized in technological solutions for financial markets as CEO, which strengthened his focus on fintech and cryptoassets. Since 2025, he has been a Senior Associate at Gómez-Pinzón, where he is part of the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practice Group. His background positions him as a reference in structured finance, capital markets, financial innovation, and the regulatory framework applicable to emerging financial technologies.
