Experience
Juan Antonio has extensive experience in the legal sector and in infrastructure and transportation projects. He began his career in 2010 as an assistant in the legal department of BP Colombia and later worked as an associate at a leading law firm between 2010 and 2014, where he was involved in corporate and contractual matters. From 2014 to 2015, he served as Legal Coordinator at the Environmental Action and Childhood Fund – Fondo Acción, managing legal issues related to social and environmental projects. In 2017, he joined the Firm as an associate, and since 2019 he has held the position of Senior Associate. Throughout his career, he has provided comprehensive legal counsel to Empresa Metro de Bogotá and advised on the acquisition of the Briceño-Tunja-Sogamoso highway concession, as well as the financing granted by IFC and Banco Davivienda to Elecnorte. He has also participated in the public tender for the procurement of an electric fleet for Transmilenio and in consulting processes for the structuring of the electric transport system of San Andrés and Providencia.
