She joined the Firm in 2015 and currently serves as a Senior Patent Specialist in the Intellectual Property and Competition practice groups. She is a microbiologist with over a decade of experience in patents and competitive intelligence. 

She advises companies, universities, and entrepreneurs on filing patent applications at national and international levels, across sectors such as biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, mechanics, and telecommunications. Her technical and strategic knowledge allows her to support clients through all stages of the invention protection process.

Experience 

Claudia began her professional career in renowned laboratories and companies in the pharmaceutical and food sectors, where she acquired technical knowledge that she later complemented through her work in technological information analysis at a prestigious university. Since 2015, she has been part of Gómez-Pinzón, where she spent a decade working as a patent specialist, actively participating in the protection of inventions and technological developments for both national and international clients. In 2025, she was promoted to Senior Associate, a role in which she leads strategic matters in industrial property, bringing an integrated perspective that combines her scientific background with her deep legal understanding.
