Profile:

Since 2016, Jimena has developed her professional practice in tax law with an emphasis on strategic litigation, advising domestic and foreign clients in disputes against national and territorial authorities. Before joining the firm, he was a member of one of the offices that make up the Fourth Section of the Council of State for three years. In the academic field it has been highlighted for its contribution to making visible the need to implement Alternative Methods of Tax Dispute Resolution in Colombia.

Experience 

Jimena joined Pérez-Llorca, Gómez-Pinzón in 2022 and currently serves as a Senior Associate. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked as an attorney at the Council of State, in the Fourth Section, in the chambers of Justice Milton Chaves García, between 2020 and 2022. Her professional background also includes experience as a junior associate and consultant at specialized and well-established law firms, as well as serving as legal advisor at a company in the infrastructure and engineering sector. She began her career as a law clerk at a law firm.
