Since the beginning of her professional career in 1996, Adriana has developed extensive expertise in various areas of business law, with a particular focus on the financial sector, capital markets, and mergers and acquisitions. She also serves as the head of the Medellín office.

Her work is centred on providing legal advice in complex public market transactions, corporate reorganisations, asset acquisitions, syndicated financing, privatisation processes, and the legal structuring of investment banking operations. She also has significant experience in business structuring and advising on the regulatory aspects relevant to financial institutions, banks, and brokerage companies.
Throughout her professional career, Adriana Moreno has built a strong track record in the financial and corporate law sectors, beginning her practice at prominent Colombian law firms before joining Gómez-Pinzón. She has participated in major transactions in the Colombian capital markets, including the public equity offering by Grupo de Energía de Bogotá and the securities issuance by Isagen. Her experience also includes advising on the refinancing of leading companies such as Almacenes Éxito, Constructora Conconcreto, and Grupo Grasco, as well as the share buyback process of Grupo Imsa. She has participated in Ecopetrol’s international bond issuance and the structuring of the Taurus Capital private equity fund. In addition, she has supported the creation of private equity vehicles such as BTG Pactual’s alternative assets fund and the Viva Malls autonomous trust. Her work also spans credit transactions, including the loan granted by SUAM to Exponencial Confirming, and port infrastructure initiatives such as Uniban’s involvement in the Puerto Antioquia Project.
