Has been involved in national and multi-jurisdictional transactions in sectors such as energy, infrastructure, health and manufacturing, providing strategic solutions and an integrated approach to each project. Its experience ranges from the structuring of complex operations to the management of regulatory and contractual processes, ensuring efficient results aligned with the objectives of its clients. Before joining Pérez-Llorca, Gómez-Pinzón, Álvaro worked in recognized law firms in Colombia and the United States.

Experience 

Álvaro has a solid track record in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on transactions in the energy, financial, and infrastructure sectors. Throughout his career, he has participated in high-profile deals such as the acquisition of Prime Termoflores and Termovalle, the acquisition of Banco Pro-Credit and its subsequent merger with Credifinanciera, as well as the sale of the Santa Marta–Paraguachón toll road concession. His experience at international firms in New York and Europe strengthened his transactional and strategic vision, which he now applies to advising domestic and international clients in the structuring and execution of complex operations.
