Andrés is a Senior Associate in the Technology, Communications, and Data Protection practice group. His practice focuses on advising local and international companies on transactional and regulatory matters in telecommunications, internet, postal services, and television, as well as on data protection and cybersecurity compliance (GDPR, CCPA, and across LatAm), technology licensing and acquisition, and the implementation or development of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. He also represents clients in litigation and administrative proceedings before supervisory and regulatory authorities in data protection and communications matters and provides counsel on competition law issues within the ICT sector.

Experience 

Andrés joined Pérez-Llorca, Gómez-Pinzón in 2020 and currently serves as a Senior Associate, a position to which he was promoted following his performance as an associate at the Firm. His professional background combines experience at leading law firms in Colombia and across Latin America. Throughout his career, he has provided comprehensive legal advice to prominent technology-based companies such as Zoom Video Communications, T-Mobile, Roku, Amazon, and Honeywell. He has also participated as regulatory counsel in landmark ICT sector transactions in Colombia, including the creation of Onnet Fibra through the joint venture between KKR and Coltel.
