Profile:

Carolina has a solid background in insurance law, as well as in civil and state liability. Her experience has focused on advising various companies and business groups in the insurance, financial, healthcare, transportation, and services sectors.

Her practice has enabled her to develop a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of insurance product structuring, the design and implementation of development strategies, the handling and management of insurance claims and litigation, as well as the analysis and processing of regulatory matters before supervisory authorities. She provides her clients with a strategic, preventive, and practical approach to addressing their legal needs.

Experience 

Carolina joined Pérez-Llorca, Gómez-Pinzón in 2023 and currently serves as a Senior Associate. Her career combines experience in the insurance sector and private practice, allowing her to develop a comprehensive perspective on the technical and legal matters specific to the industry.

Before joining the Firm, she worked as an attorney at a law firm specialized in litigation and insurance, where she participated in the structuring, design, and implementation of judicial and out-of-court defense strategies. Previously, she was part of insurance companies such as Colmena Seguros and Suramericana, working in areas including the general secretariat, claims, and product design and development, covering both technical and legal functions.
