He joined the Firm in 2015. Since then, his professional practice has focused on real estate and urban planning law, providing comprehensive advice to clients in the development of high-impact real estate projects and transactions. He has experience advising on legal aspects related to the acquisition and management of real estate assets for sectors such as telecommunications, logistics and retail, as well as in the structuring of urban development projects and the establishment of easements. Throughout his career, he has led strategic processes related to the design and execution of real estate business, including trust structures, construction projects and the development of hotel and commercial infrastructure.

Experience
Juan Diego began his career as a Junior Lawyer at Terranum Corporativo S.A.S., where he gained experience in corporate and real estate matters. He later joined Gómez-Pinzón Abogados as a Junior Associate, participating in significant real estate and environmental projects. In 2017, he served as Legal Manager at Southcom Towers S.A.S., leading the company’s strategic legal affairs before rejoining Gómez-Pinzón Abogados that same year as an Associate. Since then, he has built a solid trajectory within the Firm, where he currently holds the position of Senior Associate. Throughout his career, he has advised on the development of Orpea’s facilities in Colombia, the acquisition of land by Amarilo and Constructora Colpatria, and the handling of Mapei’s real estate and environmental matters. He has also supported the interim management of the Lagos de Torca trust, the capitalization of Viva Malls, the development of a first-class hotel in the country, and a build-to-suit project for Mercado Libre.
