Since beginning her professional career in 2008, María Camila has focused her practice on urban planning law, building solid expertise across key areas such as land development, territorial planning, real estate project structuring, and navigating administrative procedures before district and national authorities. She has advised various sectors of the economy on the legal feasibility of their urban development initiatives and has played a key role in securing land-use planning and management instruments for large-scale projects.

Experience
María Camila began her professional career in 2013 as legal coordinator at a well-known real estate development company, and later worked as a senior lawyer at several firms specializing in urban and real estate law. In 2016, she joined Pérez-llorca, where she has built a strong career in the Real Estate & Urban Law practice.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in major urban development and real estate transactions, including comprehensive legal support for Bogotá’s First Metro Line project, the structuring of the Madrid II partial plan for Amarilo, the capitalization of Viva Malls, and the provisional management of the Lagos de Torca Trust. She has also provided ongoing advisory services to companies such as PriceSmart, Fox Telecolombia, and the Anglo Colombian School on urban planning, construction permits, and real estate development matters.
