Since beginning her professional career in 1992, María Fernanda has focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and international transactions. She specializes in providing strategic guidance to clients in cross-border operations, supporting both buyers and sellers, and offering comprehensive advice across a wide range of corporate matters. Her extensive experience includes advising domestic and international clients on corporate restructurings and providing general corporate counsel, ensuring that her clients’ legal needs are fully met.

Experience

María Fernanda began her professional career at Pérez-Llorca in 1993. She later joined an international law firm based in Spain, where she deepened her expertise in cross-border transactions. In 2013, she returned to Pérez-Llorca, and since 2020 she has served as counsel, focusing on complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, and transactional advisory.

Throughout her career, she has advised both domestic and international clients on acquisitions, company sales, and corporate restructurings. Notable transactions include the sale of Neotrimetal to Mexichem, the acquisition of Facture by Accel KKR, and the sale of Baru Investment to Vopak LNG. She has also supported investments in sectors such as telecommunications, agribusiness, logistics, banking, and energy, offering strategic advice to both buyers and sellers.
