Profile 

Alejandro joined the Firm in 2023. His practice has primarily focused on judicial proceedings before the Administrative Jurisdiction and Arbitral Tribunals (both national and international) involving state entities or public funds.

Experience 

Alejandro began his career as a legal assistant at the Office of the Inspector General of Colombia and later worked for several years at a renowned law firm, where he participated in significant proceedings in the corporate sector. Since 2023, he has been part of Gómez-Pinzón, where he currently serves as a Senior Associate. He has advised major companies in Colombia, including in the sale of 51% of Colfondos S.A. by Mercantil Colpatria to the Bank of Nova Scotia, and in the structuring of the merger between Avianca and Grupo TACA through the creation of a new regional holding. He has also supported the Cartagena Refinery in multiple complex contractual disputes, including pre-litigation strategies and arbitrations related to EPC contractors and supervisors, demonstrating his expertise in the comprehensive management of large-scale business disputes.
