Profile

Pablo has more than 5 years of work experience in the resolution of constitutional litigation, in which he has participated as an intern and law clerk of the Constitutional Court of Colombia. His practice has focused on drafting judicial opinions on constitutional injunctions for constitutional rights such as due process, political rights, and the prior consultation of ethnic groups. As a law clerk, he also drafted opinions on the constitutionality of laws challenged before the Court in areas such as the National Plan for Development, violations of the rules that govern the legislative process, and the automatic review of certain laws by the Constitutional Court. During his time in the judiciary, he also worked on the implementation of “structural orders” issued by the Court with regards to public policy.
