Since she began her professional practice in 2013, working mainly in the areas of Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions. She has extensive experience in joint ventures and corporate reorganizations, as well as advising local and international clients in negotiating transactions for the acquisition or sale of Colombian companies and assets in Latin America.

Her M&A practice has focused on cross-border acquisitions and includes advising clients, such as private equity funds, in different industries such us healthcare, financial services, energy, and the telecommunications sector, among others.

Experience 

Paola began her professional career in 2013 as an Associate at an international firm with operations in Colombia, where she took part in corporate operations and strategic transactions. She later joined a local firm, strengthening her experience in acquisition and financing processes. Between 2017 and 2021, she worked at a global firm operating in the country, first as an Associate and later as a Senior Associate, advising clients on structuring and executing investment projects. Since 2021, she has been part of Gómez-Pinzón Abogados as a Senior Associate, where she has advised on high-impact transactions, including KKR’s purchase of TIGO’s telecommunications towers and Colombia Telecomunicaciones’ fiber optic assets, as well as VIP Green Mobility’s acquisition of Celsia Move S.A.S.
