INFONAVIT participates in the pilot program for the inclusion of digital platform workers

On June 26, 2025, general rules were published in the Official Gazette outlining INFONAVIT’s participation in the pilot program for the mandatory enrollment of digital platform workers in the social security system. The rules impose specific obligations on employers, such as registering workers with the IMSS, submitting required notices, and paying housing contributions—even in exceptional cases like retirees or voluntary affiliates. The Institute may impose sanctions for non-compliance under current regulations.
