Luis is an associate and has more than 10 years of experience as an advisor to national and multinational companies on labour and employment law. He provides national and cross-border strategic consulting, as well as advice on labour and remuneration matters. He is an expert in labor law related to business reorganizations and mergers and acquisitions and has participated in complex employee transfer operations in business restructuring.

Experience

Luis also assists multinational companies in establishing operations in Mexico, including the design and drafting of employment documents; adaptation and implementation of local policies to comply with local legislation, among others. Luis advises clients on compensation analysis, data privacy, international assignments, anti-harassment and discrimination training, compliance investigations, strategies for complex termination processes, labor audits, benefit modification and harmonization, and collective and union negotiations. He also has extensive experience coordinating labor claims for several international companies throughout Mexico.
