The recently approved legislative reforms introduce a more digital, transparent, and structured system for public procurement in Mexico. Key developments include the launch of the Digital Public Procurement Platform, the adoption of new tools such as framework agreements, strategic dialogues, and social witnesses, as well as updated rules to promote competition, business integrity, and sustainability. Additionally, the Ministry for Anti-Corruption and Good Governance is granted broad powers to regulate and oversee compliance under this new regime.
At Pérez-Llorca, we remain at your disposal to assist companies and public entities in implementing these reforms.
