Decree establishing administrative facilities to regularize concession and allocation titles granted to the national water users indicated

Issued by Conagua, the new Decree allows individuals, states, and municipalities to regularize titles that expired between October 2017 and March 2025, provided they prove that their hydraulic infrastructure has been properly operating. This measure forms part of the national strategy to enhance water governance and prevent aquifer overexploitation. Applications must be submitted by April 28, 2026.
