Pérez-Llorca’s Telecommunications team reviews the key changes introduced by the new Federal Law on Telecommunications and Broadcasting, recently passed after a comprehensive legislative process. The reform entails a major institutional reconfiguration: the IFT is dissolved and its powers transferred to the newly created Agency for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications (ATDT) and the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (CRT). It also introduces provisions regarding concessions, infrastructure, intervention in private communications, and collaboration with law enforcement.
