Pérez-Llorca is reinforcing its global growth trajectory with the launch of Scala, an initiative designed to harness the opportunities of its internationalisation and solidify its standing as a leading Ibero-American legal services firm.
Since opening its first international office in London in 2015, Pérez-Llorca has developed a strong international network with a presence in London, New York, Brussels and Singapore, as well as a domestic presence in Spain, Portugal, Mexico and Colombia, with seven local offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Mexico City, Monterrey, Bogotá and Medellín. This structure ensures the firm delivers uniformly high standards of service and technical excellence in every jurisdiction in which it operates.
In 2025, 25% of the firm’s revenue is expected to come from its practices outside Spain – Portugal, Mexico, Colombia – reflecting the strategic importance of foreign markets in its growth plan.
“We intend to fully leverage the opportunities this new international phase offers. Scala reflects our ambition to accelerate the future of Pérez-Llorca while maintaining our dedication to excellence and our commitment to the talent and development of all our professionals”, said Pedro Pérez-Llorca, Senior Partner of Pérez-Llorca.
As part of this initiative, Pedro Pérez-Llorca will relocate temporarily to Mexico City for one year in 2026, from where he will accompany the firm’s work in the Americas alongside the international leadership team headed by Iván Delgado, International Executive Partner based in New York, and supported by Jorge Mondragón, Country Chair in Mexico, and Mauricio Piñeros, Country Chair in Colombia, as well as the firm’s local management bodies in these countries composed of Mexican and Colombian partners. Pedro Pérez-Llorca will continue to perform his current duties, while the firm’s governing bodies and management structure, coordinated through the International Partnership Board, will remain unchanged.
Project Scala has the support of strategic consultants who are already working with the firm to identify and accelerate the opportunities arising from this international expansion, with the aim of generating efficiency for clients and growth and value for the firm, while preparing a reorganisation of the group of companies to capture all emerging opportunities and ensure the most appropriate structure.
