Experience

Alfonso has over 30 years’ experience in criminal law, with a particular emphasis on highly complex litigation cases approached from a comprehensive and multidisciplinary perspective. He has been involved in the defence of high-profile cases involving shareholders, executives and directors of companies in the mining, financial, industrial, electricity, gas, pharmaceutical and retail sectors, amongst others.

He also has extensive experience in criminal procedural law, constitutional criminal law, the prevention of criminal risks and regulatory compliance processes. He was recognised by the Office of the Attorney General for his outstanding work at the Specialised Prosecutor’s Office for Terrorism Offences in 1992.
