His practice focuses on providing legal advice to mining companies on corporate, contractual, regulatory, and social management matters related to the development and operation of their projects. He has experience in structuring and negotiating contracts, implementing social commitments, and handling legal aspects related to the sustainability of operations. He also participates in multidisciplinary teams responsible for conducting legal due diligence processes in connection with acquisition, investment and other corporate transactions in the mining sector.
Additionally, he advises concessionaires, investors, and operating companies in the oil and gas and transport infrastructure sectors on contractual and regulatory matters related to public-private partnerships (PPPs), participating in the legal management of infrastructure and public services projects.
Studies:
His working languages are Spanish and English.
Experience
He has prior experience at a leading Peruvian law firm in the Projects and Public Law practice area. He also formed part of the legal team of the concessionaire responsible for the operation of Peru’s largest port terminal. He is currently on secondment at a multinational mining company, owner of one of the country’s most important copper projects, where he provides in-house legal support for the development of its operations.

He has served as a teaching assistant for the course Economic Administrative Law and as an assistant at the Environmental Management Clinic at Universidad del Pacífico.
