Gabriel is an associate since 2013. His practice focuses on advising local and international clients, including companies, investment banks, commercial banks, investors, investment funds, and multilateral entities, on the structuring of all types of financing transactions, project financing, and local and international public and private offerings of all types of debt and equity instruments. Experience
Gabriel has more than 14 years of experience advising companies, local and international banks, and investment funds on the structuring and negotiation of all types of financings, including corporate financing, acquisition financings, distress financing and syndicated financings.
In capital markets, Gabriel has extensive experience advising corporate issuers, financial institutions, and insurance companies on the structuring of public and private debt and equity offerings of all types, including share offerings, short-term instruments, corporate bonds, secured bonds, subordinated bonds, hybrid bonds, thematic bonds and securitizations. He also advises on the repurchase of such securities and on securities market regulatory matters.
In addition, Gabriel advises developers, banks, and multilateral entities on the structuring and negotiation of financings for the construction and development of infrastructure projects, including advice on bankability matters.
His international experience includes working as a foreign associate in the Latin America corporate and finance team of an international law firm in Washington, D.C. in 2020 and 2021.
Academic and Publishing Collaborations
Gabriel served as a teaching assistant for the course Institutions of Private Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 2015, and for the courses Civil Law I and Civil Law II at Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 2009 and 2010.
