His practice focuses on the execution of land management and social management works for the implementation of infrastructure projects or to ensure the continuity of ongoing operations, depending on the client’s requirements.
He advises domestic and international companies on the elaboration of technical-legal and social diagnosis, cadastral and asset valuation activities, the development of land acquisition plans, social management and stakeholder engagement strategies, as well as the implementation of such plans and strategies.
He works with other practice areas of the Firm to advise national and international companies on financings and transactions, as well as on dispute resolution and arbitration proceedings related to the execution of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contracts or other matters related to the land management of a project.
Studies:
His working languages are Spanish and English.
Experience
He leads multidisciplinary teams to execute land management and social management works to acquire real property rights over areas required for the development of new infrastructure projects or the expansion of existing ones.
He has participated in numerous negotiation meetings, community engagement initiatives, and Dialogue Roundtables with Agricultural Communities (Comunidades Campesinas) with government entities as mediators, implementing previously defined socio-legal strategies to obtain the permits and property rights required for project execution and to prevent conflicts that could affect operational continuity.
Through his work, he has contributed, among other projects, to the development of the hydroelectric power plant with the largest installed capacity in Peru, as well as the construction of transmission lines and wind farms in the regions of Piura, Ica, Cajamarca, and Cusco.
