Pérez-Llorca, the Ibero-American firm with the highest number of Band 1 practices in Chambers Latin America 2027

The firm has secured 12 practices ranked in Band 1 and 12 in Band 2, making it the IberoAmerican firm with the greatest number of Band 1 and Band 2 rankings, further consolidating its leadership in the region. It has also achieved 128 individual rankings in the Latin America guide of this international directory

Pérez-Llorca is the Ibero-American firm with the highest number of practices ranked in Band 1 in the Chambers Latin America 2027 guide, published by Chambers & Partners, one of the most prestigious international legal directories.

The firm has achieved 12 practices in Band 1 and 12 in Band 2, placing 24 practice areas within the two highest categories of the Chambers Latin America rankings. This makes Pérez-Llorca the IberoAmerican firm with the highest number of Band 1 and Band 2 practices, a recognition that reflects the excellence of its teams, the trust placed in the firm by its clients, and the reputation it has built across the region.

In total, Pérez-Llorca has secured 51 practice area rankings in this year’s edition of Chambers Latin America. These results consolidate the firm’s position in the region and reflect the strength of its teams in Mexico, Colombia and Peru, reaffirming an internationalisation strategy that has established PérezLlorca as the leading legal platform in Ibero-America.

In Peru, the firm (formed through the merger of Miranda & Amado with Pérez-Llorca) now has six practices in Band 1, following the promotion of Competition/Antitrust, which joins the group made up of Banking & Finance, Capital Markets, Corporate/M&A, Dispute Resolution: Arbitration and Real Estate.

In Colombia, the firm now has five practices ranked in Band 1, thanks to the promotion of Corporate/M&A and Energy & Natural Resources, which join Banking & Finance, Capital Markets and Tax, already ranked in the top tier.

In Mexico, Pérez-Llorca has obtained a Band 1 in Dispute Resolution: Civil & Commercial Litigation: Highly Regarded, in addition to the promotion of Projects to Band 2.

As for Band 2, the firm is ranked in Dispute Resolution: Litigation, Energy & Natural Resources: Oil & Gas, Environment and Projects in Peru; in Dispute Resolution: Civil & Commercial Litigation, Intellectual Property, International Trade/WTO, Public Law and Real Estate in Colombia; and in Corporate/M&A: Elite, Intellectual Property and Projects in Mexico.
