In an interview with El Economista, Jerónimo Ramos highlights that the effectiveness of the Law will depend on its interaction with other instruments, particularly budget allocations and the definition of powers of the future interinstitutional advisory council. He underscores as a positive element the inclusion of flexible contractual schemes, which will allow the combination of different investment mechanisms, such as funds, trusts and public-private partnerships, to attract private capital.
He also anticipates that project development will largely depend on the role assumed by the State in each case, in a context where more than half of the projected investment towards 2030 will be concentrated in the energy sector.
