Jerónimo has a solid track record in infrastructure and energy project finance, structured finance, and mergers and acquisitions. With a practice focused on complex transactions across Latin America, he has advised sponsors, banks, developers, and investment funds in operations ranging from conventional and renewable energy to highways, port terminals, and airport facilities.
Since his promotion to partner in early 2025, he has strengthened his leadership in the development and financing of strategic projects with significant regulatory and structural impact in the Mexican market.
He is actively involved in specialized energy sector networks.

Experience
He has represented a wide variety of sponsors, financial institutions, suppliers and contractors in transactions related to the infrastructure sector (energy, oil and gas, roads, airports and ports) in Latin America (with a focus on Mexico), including in relation to processes of legal audits, project structuring, negotiation and implementation of financing documents and, in general, legal and project guarantee documentation. Likewise, he has represented various Mexican and multinational companies in national and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, including in the structuring of joint ventures, strategic alliances, acquisitions and structured financing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and purchase and sale of shares and assets of various nature.
Jerónimo worked at Milbank LLP (formerly Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP) in New York as part of the global project finance, energy and infrastructure group.
