The Firm

A Leading Firm

We are committed to dedicating 20 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer in the firm every year.

Pro Bono

We believe that law is a tool for social change and that pro bono practice is the best way to realize our lawyers’ professional responsibility to society. For this reason, Miranda & Amado is a signatory of the Pro Bono Declaration for the Americas, driven by the Cyrus R. Vance Center for International Justice, to promote, organize and spread pro bono practice among the firm’s lawyers.

Thus, we are committed to dedicating 20 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer in the firm every year, for the benefit of underprivileged or impoverished individuals and communities and the organizations which assist them.

Furthermore, M&A has committed to bringing pro bono work closer to law students with a view to fostering their awareness on lawyers’ social role. In this spirit, we launched the Pro Bono Challenge in 2010 with the hope of making this contest into a platform that helps to address unmet needs regarding access to justice, and advancing and enhancing the prestige of pro bono work among Peru’s future lawyers.
