We are committed to dedicating 20 hours of pro bono legal services per lawyer in the firm every year.
Pro Bono
We believe in the law as a tool for social change and in Pro Bono work as the best way to materialize our lawyers’ professional responsibility to society. Accordingly, we are signatories to the Pro Bono Declaration for the Americas, promoted by the Cyrus R. Vance Center for the Advancement of International Justice, with the aim of promoting, organizing, and disseminating the practice of Pro Bono work among the firm’s lawyers.
In this regard, we are committed to providing 20 hours of free legal services each year for every lawyer at the firm, benefiting underprivileged individuals and communities, those living in poverty, and the organizations that assist them.
We are also committed to bringing Pro Bono work closer to law students in order to foster awareness of the lawyer’s social role. To that end, we launched the Pro Bono Challenge in 2010, aspiring to make the competition a platform that helps address unmet access-to-justice needs while promoting and enhancing the prestige of Pro Bono work among the country’s future lawyers.

Pro Bono Alliance
A non-profit civil association founded to promote pro-bono work in Peru. It aims to serve as a meeting point between lawyers and vulnerable groups and/or the organizations assisting them. To this end, Alianza Pro Bono fosters the provision of high-quality legal services.
Adogtados
An association dedicated to promoting responsible pet adoption and providing shelter for abandoned or abused dogs. The organization seeks to rescue and temporarily house abandoned dogs before placing them for adoption with responsible families.
“Señor de la Divina Misericordia” Cancer Patients Refuge
An association that provides free comprehensive assistance to cancer patients coming from the provinces and living in extreme poverty, during their treatment in Lima, Peru.
Asociación para la Niñez y su Ambiente (ANIA)
A non-profit association founded with a mandate to bring girls, boys and youths closer to nature and to empower them as agents for change by adopting and promoting sustainable lifestyles from their homes, schools and community.
Asociación Taller de los Niños (TANI)
A non-profit organization founded in Peru in 1978. Its primary objective is to ensure early childhood development and support families in vulnerable situations by providing tools and assistance in education, healthcare and community development.
Capital Humano y Social Alternativo (CHS Alternativo)
An organization specialized in the protection of human rights, particularly those of children and adolescents, in matters related to human trafficking, migrant smuggling and missing persons. CHS Alternativo promotes public oversight of government policies, develops communication initiatives, studies and research aimed at raising public awareness, and provides assistance to vulnerable populations, especially women, children and adolescents.
Center for Reproductive Rights (Cyrus Vance Center)
A global legal and human rights organization dedicated to advancing access to reproductive healthcare, contraception and safe motherhood as fundamental human rights worldwide.
Compartamos con Colombia
A non-profit social consultancy that connects the specialized talent and expertise of professional services firms with civil society organizations through pro bono work and corporate volunteering initiatives. Compartamos con Colombia co-leads the Enlaza Sur program, an alliance aimed at strengthening social and environmental justice by supporting civil society and grassroots organizations throughout the Andean region.
Conservation International Foundation
An international non-profit non-governmental organization that seeks to empower societies to responsibly and sustainably care for the resources endowed by nature for the well-being of humanity. These efforts contribute to ensure Peru’s recognition of biological and cultural megadiversity as its main wealth and the application of this principle as a guide for its development policies.
Democracia para Todos
An association established exclusively for the purpose of carrying out activities related to social assistance, education, culture and civic engagement for the benefit of vulnerable individuals and groups within Peruvian society, with a view to contributing to improved quality of life, social welfare and social progress.
Enseña Perú
A social organization that believes in the potential of all Peruvians and that all students deserve quality education. Therefore, it brings professional talent to the classrooms and offers different employment opportunities to enhance leadership and other capabilities of students, Profesionales Enseña Perú (PEP) and the community. Its goal is to teach in schools located in vulnerable areas of Peru and thus contribute to reducing the country’s educational gap.
Fe y Alegría Perú
With the aim of providing quality education and positively influencing Peruvian public education, this social organization launches collective building processes while encouraging information sharing with several other institutions to mutually learn how to improve educational quality.
Global Smile Foundation Perú
A non-profit organization focused on providing comprehensive treatment and free reconstructive surgeries to low-income patients with cleft lip and palate conditions.
Grupo de Padres de Familia de los Menores Dependientes de Ventilación Mecánica Prolongada (VMP)
A group of parents of children who depend on prolonged mechanical ventilation to survive. The firm represents them on a pro bono basis in constitutional proceedings before the Constitutional Court aimed at safeguarding their rights to life and healthcare by seeking specialized medical treatment and adequate healthcare coverage from the State.
Help Peru
A non-profit organization founded by Peruvians in New York that finances and strengthens social projects in Peru, particularly those benefiting vulnerable populations. Its work focuses primarily on education, healthcare and environmental initiatives, partnering with NGOs and local leaders to develop sustainable programs.
Hiperderecho
A Peruvian non-profit civil association dedicated to researching, facilitating public understanding and promoting respect for rights and freedoms in digital settings. It strives to ensure that Internet continues to be a space free of government and private interference with the exercise of rights.
Kunan – Desafío Kunan 2026
Kunan is a platform that promotes, integrates and inspires the social entrepreneurship ecosystem in Peru. In 2026, it sponsors the “Justice and Community” category aimed at strengthening initiatives that improve access to justice, legal services, governance and rights protection in vulnerable communities.
Laboratoria
A non-profit organization that focuses on helping young, low income women to become programmers and experts in web development, with a view to promoting their employability in the digital sector.
Mano a Mano Perú
An organization that supports the local development of the Los Jazmines community in Puente Piedra through initiatives in education, employment, preventive healthcare and community strengthening led by women.
