LGBTIQ+ PARTNER BENEFITS PLAN
Among the benefits offered by the firm, we provide private health insurance that allows LGBTIQ+ partners to be included under the same conditions as heterosexual marriages and common-law unions. Likewise, under our travel accident life insurance policy, LGBTIQ+ partners are recognized as beneficiaries.
Similarly, we grant birth and adoption leave to LGBTIQ+ partners under the same conditions applicable to heterosexual couples, as well as leave in the event of a direct family member’s serious illness or accident and in the event of a direct family member’s death, recognizing this relationship as part of the immediate family group.
These rights are not recognized under Peruvian law; however, we offer them as an additional benefit with the purpose of making no distinctions based on gender or sexual orientation.

FLEXIBILITY PLAN
This plan includes: (i) a Flextime and Part-Time Program, through which lawyers may carry out their regular professional practice with greater flexibility; (ii) the provision of services remotely on a partial-time and/or defined basis, allowing lawyers to work from home or any location outside the firm on certain days of the week; and (iii) a remote work arrangement through which lawyers may provide services continuously from home, either within or outside the country.
To ensure that lawyers remain appropriately connected with the firm, regular interaction is maintained through digital channels.

ADDITIONAL MATERNITY AND PATERNITY LEAVE
We provide 100 calendar days of paid maternity leave and 10 business days of paternity leave. Although this benefit is not required by law and is not a common market practice, it is granted to all our lawyers.

ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY
This policy seeks to establish a clear procedure for addressing potential harassment cases and preventive guidelines against all forms of discrimination. We also have a Diversity and Inclusion Committee whose primary mission is to safeguard the integrity of all individuals who are part of the firm.
The firm maintains a firm stance against all forms of harassment or discrimination, whether based on race, sex, religion, place of origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender, or any other characteristic.

DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION COMMITTEE
We seek to ensure that all members of the firm can develop their careers fully and equally, while promoting a respectful work environment free from violence, harassment, and any form of discrimination.
To achieve this, we have implemented a Diversity and Inclusion Committee whose mission is to design and execute strategies that promote diversity and inclusion across the organization and to serve as the principal advocates of initiatives that strengthen integration and make the firm an excellent place for professional and personal development.

The Committee focuses on four diversity pillars:

  • Gender
  • LGBTIQ+ Community
  • Disability
  • Culture

Its main objectives include:

  • Promoting an internal culture of equity, diversity, inclusion, and zero tolerance for discriminatory conduct.
  • Designing, managing, and reviewing diversity policies, strategies, and initiatives.
  • Fostering a culture of equal opportunity.
  • Monitoring the implementation of diversity and inclusion practices within the firm.
  • Implementing diversity programs and initiatives across the entire organization.
  • Designing diversity and inclusion communication plans as part of the firm’s value proposition.
  • Promoting actions against violence in all its forms, and specifically against violence affecting women and other vulnerable groups.
