Ana Cristina has advised leading private equity funds, major national and multinational corporations, as well as family-owned businesses and startups, on a wide range of commercial and corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and capitalizations, among others. In addition to her extensive background at renowned global law firms, she has experience as Government Affairs Manager at Drummond Ltd. and as General Counsel Latam at Merqueo. She has also served as a mentor in various entrepreneurship programs, including Endeavor’s training initiatives, providing guidance to companies and investors in capital raising rounds and shareholder agreement structuring.
Since 2021, she has been a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice at Pérez-Llorca, where she has led major transactions such as the 50% equity acquisition by JCHX Mining Management, the acquisition of Grupo Meiko by Premise Data Corporation, the majority stake acquisition in Greendipity by Grupo Iberoamericano de Fomento, and deals for Alta Latin Holdings, Egis Consultoría, Macquarie Infrastructure Partners III, and Acon Consumer Finance Holdings. Her experience also includes the democratization of Ecopetrol and the global sale of NEC Corporation’s wireless transport business, demonstrating strong expertise in managing complex transactions across diverse sectors.
