Nicolás is a lawyer from the Universidad de Los Andes with over 8 years of experience in tax, foreign exchange, customs, and international trade matters. He also has experience advising clients in disputes with the Tax and Customs Administration at both the administrative and judicial levels. Throughout his career, he has advised national and international companies on matters related to free trade zones, customs valuation, the Vallejo Plan, origin and customs planning, as well as providing guidance in obtaining various customs authorizations and approvals.

Experience 

Nicolás joined Gómez-Pinzón in 2025 and currently serves as a Senior Associate, following a well-established career in customs law, international trade, foreign exchange law, and tax law. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a Senior Associate at a law firm specialized in customs and international trade. Previously, he was part of a leading global professional services firm in the tax practice, with a focus on indirect taxes. He actively participated in proceedings before courts and the Council of State, as well as in advisory matters concerning tax incentives and fiscal policy. His experience also includes time at the Ministry of Defense – General Maritime Directorate.
